Nokia 8 has finally landed in India.The phone comes with a 5.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels at a PPI of 554 pixels per inch.

The Nokia 8 runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 3090mAh non removable battery. It measures 151.50 x 73.70 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 160.00 grams.

Just like the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, the Nokia 8 runs on a pure, untouched build of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Nokia is already working on Android 8.0 Oreo for the Nokia 8 and during yesterday's launch event, HMD Global promised that the update will be landing on the smartphone very soon. The Nokia 8 also comes with a few nifty features such as Bothie which allows 'Dual-Sight' video to be live streamed natively and in real-time to social feeds such as YouTube and Facebook and OZO audio which allows the capture of 360 degree audio via the phone's three microphones and Nokia's special acoustic algorithms

Nokia 8 has a 3090 mAh battery and as I mentioned I was first playing around with a global unit, where the battery life was not so great, around 8 hours with constant usage. However, post the launch and update, Nokia 8’s battery life has become much more stable with the phone last 12 hours plus with heavy duty usage. But heating is a constant problem on both units as I’ve already pointed out.
